וְגֵחֲזִ֞י עָבַ֣ר לִפְנֵיהֶ֗ם וַיָּ֤שֶׂם אֶת־הַמִּשְׁעֶ֙נֶת֙ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י הַנַּ֔עַר וְאֵ֥ין ק֖וֹל וְאֵ֣ין קָ֑שֶׁב וַיָּ֤שָׁב לִקְרָאתוֹ֙ וַיַּגֶּד־ל֣וֹ לֵאמֹ֔ר לֹ֥א הֵקִ֖יץ הַנָּֽעַר׃
און גֵיחזי איז אַװעקגעגאַנגען זײ פֿאַרױס, און האָט אַרױפֿגעטאָן דעם שטעקן אױפֿן ייִנגלס פּנים, אָבער קײן קָול און קײן הערונג. האָט ער זיך אומגעקערט אים אַנטקעגן, און האָט אים דערצײלט, אַזױ צו זאָגן: דער ייִנגל האָט זיך ניט אױפֿגעכאַפּט.
